DVD Files are stored in a folder called VIDEO_TS. The files will be of a few different extensions: .VOB; .IFO; .BUP. That is for most DVD's.

It can be many movie types. For example: AVI file.
I recommend you get a program called Nero Vision, allows you to burn AVI files onto DVD very nicely.

Um, if he is refering to burning movies on DVD's with the DVD Movie format, it MUST have VIDEO_TS. Therefor, it must be the filetypes i mentioned, or some variation of them. Some newer DVDs have a JACKET_TS folder, some wierd way, but don't worry about that for your uses.

^^ Exactly. Not many DVD players are divx certified. There for, that leaves you one choice, my choice.

Your best bet is to use Nero Vision if they come in a .avi format.
It's a very easy program to use IMO and high quality burning.

If you want to convert .avi's and divx files to be playable on your dvd player use dvdsanta. ;)
