Lol, if it was a differnet game, cod2 don't have flashbags, erm, sometimes a phone receiving or sending a text/call, can sometimes make it flicker. If that's not the answer, maybe your monitor is packing up?

Does this only happen when you are playing this game?

1- Do not use unshielded speakers near the Monitor,.

2.- avoid having cell phones near the montor coz the cell phones frequency will interfer and make your monitor flicker.

3.-Change the monitors refresh rate to 72-85 Hertz max, this will make monitors refresh rate stable and it will flicker less. This is for monitors that are able to support this type of frequency change, the old, very old monitors do not have this option.

3.-Update your video card drivers and check if the game doenst make any conflicts with that game by nature.

4.-Check the system requirements for that game.

5.- this step 5 might not be needed but always make sure your heat sink is clean with no dust accumulations on it, just blow the dust away.

I hope that any of these tips will work if not, as suggested i a post above, your monitor might be dying but if it is with this type of game only, then perhaps is the compatibility of it with your system, or it might be file curruption in the istalation of the game itself or curruption of some other sort.

My solution is that it could be bangs on the game or like some one else said somthing is going to die.
