    I dunno, do you?
you can most likely find the setting you are looking for in some advanced tab in control panel>audio....just look around in there and I am sure you will be able to fix you problem.

If you use hotmail it could be your input settings thats what it was with me... Bring up the sign in box go to tools and audio and video set up that may fix it.

Brand new, no wires are messed up, and cant find anything in audio settings..
I've tried connecting in the audigy 4 area and the default windows area (on my computer, the black and pink plugs)

Wasted a good amount of my time, uninstalling, installing, and repeating with drivers. Uninstalled 'Microsoft WINMM WDM Audio Compatibility Driver' and it finally worked cuz after changin drivers first time nothing worked.

this is really annoying. Doesnt matter if i use onboard or audigy4 for it neither works to make the mic get sound.

Go to your control panel, then sound and audio devices, then advance, options, properties then press recording, tick all the boxes, then press ok. Then tick mircophone and turn it up if need be. Tell me if that works

The only thing i can tell you is. Go into start>Control Panel> Sound and Audio Devices. GO to Audio Tab. And make sure that the correct info is selected, if you don't know what should be selected play with the sound recording part.
