Pirates Of The Caribbean

This movie definatly gets a 10/10 in my book i found this movie amazing especially the end .

 

It was a GREAT movie...I liked the ending however most people didnt..but I did..cool special effects on the evil crew..

 

i would give it a 8 1/2 out of ten.
Pros: really cool movie, loved the first
Cons: How did that pirate captain come back when Sparrow killed him in the first??

I do believe I'm a pirate lover. I've seen the first one 9 times and the second 2, but I'm gonna go see it a few more times.

 

well,I have to say I didn't really enjoy dead man's chest..
1st had more fun in it,this 1 was more serious.

I agree with you 9/10. I loved it. It was funny and had action. I didn't like the ending though. I also enjoy the fact that it was long. Long movies are better and worth your money.

 

I agree with the OP, this was maybe a 'little higher' than 6/10, 7/10 max. I'm a fan of PoTC, but man...all action (even though it was some cool action) no dialogue is not a good thing, especially when the movie is as long as it is. Also they had to give everyone with important things to say even harder accents to understand (Jamaican and Irish). ALSO, since the sequel was NEVER planned originally until the original movie had great success, the transition from the 1st to the 2nd movie is choppy and forced. So yeah, though I'm still going to watch PoTC:3, it definetly shouldn't rate super high on most people's list unless they are true diehards or they like over-extended action sequences that take up 85% of a film.

-Also a mini-edit, I do hope some of you people know there will be a third installment next summer, so thats why they left with a cliffhanger.

OMG i hated the cliffhanger ending...it wasn't very good way to end it there..cz it seemed like they just stopped the movie half way through...which is the case because they filmed potc2+3 at same time

 

I gave the movie a 6/10 was sub-par compared to the 1st one. I knew the stall ending half-way through and who the captian was going to be. The movie just didnt seem that great like the 1st.
