Mouse Gets Taken Over?

    Since a week or something, like once a day our mouse does really weird, i get the feeling that someone wants to take over the mouse (hacker or something) and i turn if off instantly. What can i do to protect my pc?

    did u install any drivers for it?or did u just put it!

    i think you're just paranoid. you just probably need a new mouse

    Nicasus: It just goes all over the screen, starts some things like firefox, or shutdown my pc etc. I'm pretty sure it's not the mouse, i've had it for a couple of months now without hassle

    okay...i think i have got it....wht did u download a couple a months ago when this started to happen.....if u did check ur loggers.

    maybe a virus or something.if you say you have all the drivers,then it's a driver.
    i had same problem some time ago,with an optical mouse,but mine wasn't clicking,it was just moving wild.
    i think you might format.

    some one is remote controlling your computer, simply to stop this go to controll panel > System > Remote > Click off allow remote assistance and remote desktop.

    take the ball out nd clean inside cos there could be dirt/dust init nd that can screw it up
