Alright, I have had an iPod video for a months and about 2 into it I got a dead pixel, I was quite anoyed, but then for some reason I hit the pixel with my finger (probobly while rubbing something off) and it dissapeared and started working again. Ocassionally get one (it just appears blue or a different solid color)and I do the same thing. Simply apply some pressure (NOT A LOT) to the general area and it disapears and starts working again.
So for all of you out there getting these pixels just do this an dthey should start wokring again.

You should see if Apple will send you a new one if you're still under warranty.

it wasn't dead, it was stuck (as said above). You shouldn't have applied pressure to it, you should have used a pixel unsticker. This is a video in which the colours rapidily change from red, to blue, to yellow. Thats how you're supposed to fix a stuck pixel.

How long did you run the video for? It's supposed to be run for at least a day non-stop
