Userbar Rotating Tut

In this tutorial I'm going to teach you to make a rotator, this changes one image to another. It can be used for using multiple sigs/userbars. Before we start I expect you have at least 2 images that are both the same image size.

A result of this tutorial is:



Open Imageready, and load your two images in separate documents.

Copy one of them onto the other one and press Ctrl+V to paste.

The image that you want to show first must be above the other one in the layer pallete, like so:


So now you have your first image on top. If you don't have your animations pallete open then go to Window>Animation.

Press the small page button on the animation pallete a few times, this duplicates the current frame.

Now click on the last box you see (all the way to the right in the animations panel).
With the last frame, set the opacity to 95% on the top layer.
Keep going down in fives until you get to zero, making a new frame every time you lower the opacity. Once you reach zero, you should be able to see your other image perfectly.
Now move the top layer to the bottom and set the bottom layer's opacity to 100%. Now repeat step 3 with the new top layer. If you play your animation the images should perfectly blend in with each other. You can do this with anything, I decided I would do it for an ad for a forum. Finally, you should get a sweet animation. Here's what I did.
