well,riding a motorcycle is dangerous,but driving a car is dangerous too.depends how you ride it. i have to say riding a kawasaki ninja is so damn kewl!
I was riding with my step dad, and I went off a dirt jump and landed sideway's and the bike that landed on me broke my ankle and gave me some scrap's...
my dad when he was 15 was riding a motercycle. and got hit by a car..... he was in the hospital for like 2 weeks, has a huge scar on his leg from it, and he had to like reablitate his leg forever..... they are dangerous
Yes but still u dont have seat belts and other stuff and if u hit with another vehicle u have much more chance to die then driving a car.New cars have good brakes (ABS) and other things which can prevent a deadly crash but still if driving with a 120 mph + and u hit in another vehicle /wall / tree etc u can die or injure your self prety badly ^_^
Think of it this way, when you get into a car crash, you're enclosed in a steel/aluminum/carbon fiber shell. When you get into a motorcycle crash, you are enclosing whatever it is the bike is made of.

Motorycle drivers are not called organ donors as a joke - its a fact. Drivers just do not look out or see motocycles, and your guranteed an accident no matter how good of a bike handler you are. My stepfather has ridden Harley-Davidson's for 36 years now. His first accident ever was in his 33rd year, a car turned into the same lane at him as he was passing. You can be a professional motorcycle driver, but it only takes one stupid driver - and America(as does most countries I'm sure) is full of them. Andrew

I just rememberd a bike accident where a guy was driving it and a chick a behind him , they hit a car and the bike was thrown into the air and landed on the chick :\ and she died , and the guy got hes leg amputated..
Play GTA Vice City or San Andreas and ram a guy riding a motorcycle with your car or vice versa...nuff' said :lol: (for those of you who haven't caught on yes I know it's a video game, and it was a joke) My friend bought a motorcycle in high school and I always wanted to get one too, I thought it would be cool, but later on her parents made her sell it. I've never actually seen someone get in a motorcycle accident, and the few people I know that ride them haven't gotten injured, but you have to kind of think about other issues...like wintertime, or if it rains, riding it would just suck. And I'm pretty confident to say the risk of injury if hit by another vehicle or if you crash could be pretty devastating. And like others have said, you could be an excellent motorcyclist, but it takes one stupid move of another driver...
