Hi everyone, im quite new to c4d, and i been making a few, but i dont know how to save them so i can get it into Photoshot with a transparent BG, i can get it in PS wit hthe black Bg but not trans :s help please.! THanks.
Use those c4ds with the black background in your sig. Just set the layer adjustment to lighten, screen, linear dodge and color dodge. Those are the most popular settings with c4d usage. Hope this helps.
Yea xuck, kinda knew some of the settings got rid of the black, its just you see a few c4ds with trans bgs and u can make them look really nice on other settings. but its not a real big problem if no one knows away of doing it with out "self erasing" the black, thanks Xuck Anyway for taking the time to post that.
Go into render settings and make sure to check the alpha checkbox... I forget exactly which tab it's on, just look at them all. When you save it with alpha, you'll lhave to open in PS, look at the layers palette. Click on Channels which is next to layers. You'll see alpha. Hold control on the keyboard and left click on the alpha channel. Now you will have only the render selected, not the background. You can invert and delete the background or copy/paste into another document. Good luck.
