I have read the story that came before it, the Illiad, and that wasnt too bad of a book. I rather liked it. Never could pull myself to read the Oddyssey though.

I've heard of it, but I haven't read it. Since I am not a big book fan, then I probably won't read it at all.

Heard of it, the only thing intresting about it is the name of the book, but its sounds stupid.

I've read both. They're epic tales. Probably two (well, one actually) of the best stories ever written. However, as some of the previous folks who have posted here stated, I am into monsters/brutal killing/death and/or gore/etc/ad nauseum.
