My First Theme

Hey guys comment on my first theme please. Its bad qualit becasue I added a watermark. Its a pretty simple tech theme. I call it "SILVER TECH".

Banner and text are terrible, but like the wires, and screws.

Yeah, the banner seems empty with just the grunge and I dont know anything else to add in. Also my borders arent that good either since they look simple too. Im still looking around to find some ways to fill them in.

 

looks ok dont like the colors of the text or those worms

 

You shouldnt have used those bright colors w/ a dark grunge-tech theme

 

Thanks for the commects guys, so next time I do a theme similar to this one Ill have in mind what do improve on.

I like the outline of the template - The banner style etc... but you really need to change the text on the banner, it doesn't fit in at all....

I like the screws and chain effect you have done - not sure how you done that

Also how can you say it's finished ? There is only one very small content box at the left, you aren't going to fit much text in that.

 

Sorry to say it but i dont like it.....I was never to big on the tech sites and this one doesnt look that great. The red and green pipes or wires are really out of place. 3/10...if that

 

I'd say it's a good idea, just not carried out very well if you see what I mean.

 

ita alright for a first template i suggest looking around this template fourm and get some ideas off other peoples work and then just make your own template but better

 

Well looking at that picture it looks unfinished. But once you code it up, the coding adds all the other menus which have the same design like that context box so it just kind of spreads it and makes it good.

I'm sorry, but it's quite bad.

The anti-rip is disgusting, along with the banner, lack of color, text, and text boxes. Read up on some good tutorials and you'll get much better.

 

I would like to see it finished but its ok 2.3/10
