Somebody Tries To Log In On My Account

I just got 2 mails from GR with this:

Well i was sleeping then, and i am logged in always on my computer, and i know my own pass

Could someone look into the Admin, then check the ip and ban the member who tries to get into my account?

Ya that account lock after failed login attempts is very useful against people who try to guess your password.

 

The rules clearly state that you can't post here if you dont have anything necessary to say so gtfo

That rule only applies to the Ripper/Scammer and Rep Abuse forums. Next time you want to be rude to another member, make sure you have your facts straight.

As far as I know, there isn't any way for the Admins to find the IP of whoever tried logging into your account. This happens a lot unfortunately and the only thing to really do is make sure your password is uncrackable. Like the e-mail said, if you have any questions PM Shaggy. On another note, when you PM him tell him to check that e-mail for spelling and grammar :wacko:

 

Mods only have forum powers, they can't look into the same things a Admin can.

I would suggest to change your PW every so often, because some of us donators messaged Admins on various subjets, and even we got nothing in return.

Guys, don't escalate this any further than it has to. Stop the flaming.

 

Shaggy can find the IP of the person who is doing it. Just pm him about it.

 

I would suggest looking at the exact time that you got the email Nielz, and then maybe Shaggy can see if someone failed a login attempt at that time.

 

Dude this is what i do everytime i get a message like that. 1. I completly change my password to something that one I can remeber and 2 something that is hard for them to guess.
