ok so im turning 14 on september 16 and my friend got a job when he was 14 at a italian resturaunt in the woodlands where he lives so i was wondering what kind of job i should get at 14 one that has decent pay and i live in a kinda big city small to some there is about 257,000 people and we have major stores such as wal-mart, h.e.b, best buy, target, etc.. i would of asked at a couple of small businesis but they are mostly liqour stores anyways any help at all would be good and of course it would be part time cause i am 14 and in school so again thanks for any help
if you're 14 only place you can work is fast food. Turn 15 or 16, then you can land a decent job. 18 is for liquor stores, but i wouldnt recomend that. Not real safe.
Don't get a job at 14, enjoy the time you have before you start working and wait another year or two.
I'm 13 and I has to do labor over the summer for a job. I did a thing called detasseling. If you live or you're from the midwest you'll most likely know what that is but, I'm not going to take time explaining it. Maybe find a job at a local grocery store? Thats what I would do but I dont need a job right now. Thats my advice.
Fast food is a great idea. No other job can accept people from under the age of 14 in Australia, but you can get a job at McDonalds.. but the pay is crap, just wait a little longer till you get your licence
You'll waste your childhood working at a young age, at 14 there can not be anything you particularly need a job for. Just wait until your 16 and get a semi decent job, but enjoy now.
why would you need a job at 14... not like you really need to pay for anything... i didnt get a job till i was 16 (last year) and now i have 2...

ill still be a kid but with a job it probally wont even happen untill this summer or maybe off season anyway cause i have football from 2:40 untill 5:30 or 6:00 and the only reason im not there today is because i have a reacuring knee injury (tore my mcl *not acl*) and i hurt it today messing around but thanks ill check out mcdonalds and see what they are offering and what kind of hours id be working thanks for all the replys
