Definitely isn't smart. I understand what people go through. I am at a new school right now and don't really know anyone. You should never cut yourself because you don't like how your life is though.
I personally find it disgusting that people "emo bash" like this. It's fine if you don't like their clothing style...but to say "oh go cut yourself" is seriously wrong. Many people who cut themselves don't do it because they're p...cats, or female dogs (censored?), it's because they have severe emotional problems. Some of it can't be prevented, it's just how their brain is, and how it tells them to handle things. A family member of mine commited suicide, and they were very close to me, so maybe I'm a little biased on that sort of thing, but I don't understand how people find it "funny" to stereotype emo kids as cutting their wrist, then continue to mock them for doing such.
Honestly I have some, as you would call them, 'emo' friends. None of which 'cut' themselves, but they have friends who do. Research it. The main motive for doing this, is it's truly the only pain that some people can control. In most cases 'cutting' starts from abusive or drunk parents. It's in the mind. It's a way out for a period of time, no matter how short it is. Some people are willing to risk it. I'm getting truly sick of this emo fad. It's just as annoying as the politically correct fad. Who cares. On another note, genocide has levels leading up to it. (If you don't know what the term genocide means, look it up) The first is Classification. You are currently classifying these people 'emo'. The second level is lableing. Calling someone 'emo' is a lable and stereotype. The third is dehumanization: the act which makes a human seem of lesser value, ie an insect, vermin. Some people have reached this level from their hatred towards 'emos'. Though it shouldn't have started in the first place, don't let it go further. Those are just a few of the levels. Get off this 'emo' phrase/wording/fad please. It's an annoyance.
Don't want to start taking drugs, or cutting my wrists... I think its pointless to do I mean who wants to hurt themselves?
i used to know this guy who burned himself everytime he did something wrong he learned it from his mother when he was real young, everytime he did something wrong his mother punished herself in front of him ... crazy ---- eh
Exactly, people who call out "Ooooh you gonna SLIT YA WRISTS" I have a lot of "Emo" friends, none of them cut themselves or would even consider it, and the people who commit suicide or cut themselves probaly aren't emo in the first place.
i hate ppl who have to disrepect ppl cause of a label they need to grow up and just except others just as the way they are, i think its sensless to do self mutilation ive done it plenty of times when i was depressed and all and no one couldnt help me :\ but meh oh well lol self mutilation is just erm.... not right
That's very judgemental..I mean, i find it immature when people say they hate life when they have it SO much better that a lot of other people...
