After 'bout a year of GIMPing, I realize we have this. I got a question though, by limited edition does it mean "Will run out of stock" or, "You don't have everything regular has"?

If this is the same (Or better) then the full version, I will probably flip. With happiness. So, anyone know?

Really Old, but probably better than GIMP?

Personally, I don't like 5.0 because it doesn't have as many features as 7.0, CS, or CS2.
But it's definetly better than Gimp. Never seen a limited edition 5.0 though.

Photoshop CS = Photoshop 9. The version that most use now is CS2, which is Photoshop 10. So Photoshop 5 is old and doesn't have many features.

psh you guys are so mean
i worked with 5.0 forever only upgraded to pscs2 about 6 months ago

yea you dont get all the fancy scatter options and stuff but you can still do just a much if not the same or even better with it
you just need to learn the program instead of using brushes or add ons to make things look omg super pretty

its just as powerful as cs2 or 7 you just need to work with it :)

oh and 99% of the downloaded brushes wont work with it as they are made in 7 or up but you can find them around

dont let people put you off just takes a lil more learning and figuring out than cs cs2 or 7 does ;)

any problems feel free to message me i started in 5.0 and used it for yrs :)

CS2 doesn't mean you use brushes...don't use brushes!

It has better filters, adjustment layers, etc.
