Crew Reorganization

Ok, well as some know, I am the co-leader of V1. I did most of the things as kate was busy most of the time. Anyway the problem is this:

kate left V1 which means we need a leader, everyone in the crew said to just make me leader. And most people would think that it is logical for me to go to leader since I kind of was. Problem is, I don't have 1,000 posts or 35- rep, now since you only need that to start a crew, I'm not sure.

So the question is this: Can I take over as leader of V1?

The crew will say that I was responsable and good enough to take over, (which I kind of did anyway ), and even Kate said I should.

So, can I?

 

I don't think it would be fair for you to. You do not meet the requirements. Unless other staff disagrees...

 

It wouldn't matter to me either way. I don't see the harm in it.

 

Yea I know, but like Swat said, what's the harm? It's not like I'm some random n00b popping in, everyone in the crew knows I would take care of it, not just be like "meh".

Ask the crew and stuff, while being Co-Leader, I was doing everything I could, so yea, I kinda was the leader in many people's eyes.

The harm in it is any crew could now be started by someone with the requirements, then handed over to someone without the requirements - bypassing the current rules in place for that various reason.

 

There was a crew that started like that, which is what I was associating this with.

 

Yea, but this is just a one time situation. Think about it if you were the co-leader and your leader left, it's not like everyone is going to know about it

 

I think in a case like this, where it seems pretty obvious kate wasn't part of v1 just to get it started for elek, it should be allowed.

 

is there anyone in the crew who meets the requirements? put them temporary leader then.

She started the crew, and was participating and stuff, but then she decided that she didn't want to do it anymore and left, just to get that cleared up.

 

I would have to agree with BFTP and Rena on this one. It just sets a precedence for people attempting to find loop holes in the rules for crew creations.

Kate was really into this at the beginning and stuff.

It's not like just because I would get made leader now everybody would have someone else make a crew and then just take it over!

Ok, ask Kate. You trust her right? It's not like she would have left AG just to let me take over a crew.

 

Rules are rules. If someone else has the requirements, make them leader until the time you get the said requirements.

If no one in the crew has the requirements, hold off until such time, someone can be appointed leader, it wont hurt anyone if their crew is on a temporary break until they can regroup.

 

Well I was wondering. I am the leader of Shadow_Element i started it, Then they made the rule. Can I reopen it? I closed it because i didnt have time, but now i do

 

Nope, you closed it down, in order to reopen it, you need to meet the requirements.
