Here' s the scenario: I am using bittorrent to get anime and such, but I get the whole not enough room error a lot. I have already uninstalled a lot of software, I have cleaned out my big files with my manga and photoshop stuff (except brushes), and I am still low on memory. I dont know where else I would have random, unneeded files. The biggest softwares I am keeping are CS2, WoW, Sims 2, and HL2. I also have other software, but none nearly as big as those. Are there files that take a lot of room that I am not aware of?

there is a difference between memory and hard drive space

if it says memory then it's probably talking about your ram not your hard drive
u could just buy more ram and put it in your pc

Well, it gives a little balloon in the corner saying "Low Disk Space" and says how my C: drive is full and I need to uninstall stuff or rid of old files. Problem is now my scratch discs are full.

    You have a few options.

1, You can start cleaning off files from your hard drive, to make more room.

2, Buy a new Hard Drive

Go to my computer, right click the C: drive, look across from capacity where it will say "XX.X GB". What is the number?

According to my comp, I got a 55.8 Gig HD, and a very good majority of it is full. I dont know what it could be. I think it might be the files for WoW, but I cant run out and get a new HD until Tuesday at the earliest.

EDIT: Well...I cleaned out those anime vids, and that freed a good few gigs. Im definately gonna get an external HD when I ge the chance.

Just get a new internal one. Externals are always (at least, when I've seen them) a good deals more expensive than internals, even though they are just an internal in a case.

    How old is the computer?

Or you could get an FTP for some creds, if you dont want to spend money, and upload files there
