Anyway, I think it would look nicer as a sub-forum to the Offers & Requests. IMO it kinda ruins the whole flow to the marketplace :S

Deal with how HE likes it. EVERYONE is going to have a diffrent opinion. Some want it, some dont. Some want it sub, some dont.

 

I was the one that suggested it be placed where it is currently, actually.

Personally, I think we should move the entire Marketplace back into one forum, like the way it use to be :lol:

i reckon being part of offer/request would be better cos its like an offer basicallys and im used 2 have 3 forums when i log on, not 4 >_<

 

It's fine the way it is, just leave it.
I personally feel that since it is so common, it deserves it's own section rather than being a sub-section in Offers/Requests.

 

Hmmm, I don't even think there should be one at all. With the whole "free tutorials" movement, a forum dedicated for nothing but selling tutorials kind of demines that whole thing. Also with a lot of people complaining of the old Gr being better than the new one you'd think that people would agree with Andrews idea of everything being in one forum. Because apparently the old Gr was so much better, saying it was chaotic contradicts that.
Personally, I think, no matter how many forums you make for all the specifics of selling (sigs, templates, skins, lps, etc) morons will still post in wrong forums and break countless rules.

i like it, i just think there could be a better name.. Paid Tut sounds like already bought or suin... lol.

 

Couple things I'd like to say here. First being about the free tutorials movement you mentioned. That "movement" is nothing more than certain members voicing their opinions on the matter. It's by no means official or supported entirely by the staff or anything. Making that new section was purely to make it easier to maintain a thread and sort through the offers and requests forum.

The thing about people talking about how much better the older GR is more of how things were run and the members actions back then. Not so much, if at all, about how the forum was organized. Bringing up old GR is referring to back when people weren't so obsessed with credits and when they were more focused on helping other members out.

Yes, members will still break rules and post in the wrong sections. But that will happen anywhere, it's just life. People will always bend the rules and try to get away with certain things. At the same time, new members may not understand the different forums (yes they are pretty simple, but you have to admit that common sense is usually lacking) or get confused with all of them. Again, that's just something that will happen, What we have to do is make the forum easier to browse and find what you're looking for. You can't satisfy everyone.

 

Just as a note. If I see tutorials being posted in the wrong section. I'm deleting them. If you cant be arsed to post in the right section, I cant be arsed to move it for you and you can recreate it yourself in the proper section.
