No offense, but, dont be stupid. Nobody knows me here, and i stand as much chance as winning as you do. Probably even less (for me that is, mine suk bad!). I enter these for fun, and thats wat it should all be about. And i havent got the faintess idea who actualy judges the entries, might be admins, i duno but just stay in for the sake of fun. If you dont win, who cares? youre time WILL come, and when it does u can brag about it all you want. now if u wana go disqualify youreself just remove the sig from youre entry, change youre name, or change the name on the sig! Personaly, i think its a stupid waste of time if u look at this in the perspective youre offering.

 

Lol see there you took it to the heart, i havent mentioned anything about wining.. you should take a look at mine again, its booboo.

of course its all about fun, that is why i love "designing" it has no boundarys, No one can deny that graphic designing isnt fun and challanges... but hey thanks for letting me know what to do for me to take me off the entry.

my first sotw entry was even more "booboo" than youres!!! it was so bad that i was almost gona cry! but u see, when u keep making entries, even if you dont win, u get to understand the expectations of the judges (is that a word?) and u learn to make beter sigs. Its fun cause it has the inspiration (winning creds WHOOHOO!!! ) and the ideas (the theme or topic) for me! it also brings youre snece of a good sig up, and u start to realy understand how a good sig is made (these is all stuff ive noticed within myself, could be dif for any1 )

and dont start whining about that coz right now I am NOT in the mood to take crap calmly.

all valid entrees and disqualifications are put in a list (which will be available for download)
then a majority of staff puts up 5 to 6 nominations in order of best first.

the sig with the most nominationpoints wins.
for a nomination as first the entree gets 7 pts
nominated as 2nd => 5 pts
3rd = 4pts
4th = 3pts
5th = 2pts
6th = 1pt

I agree, it doesn't matter if people doesn't know you and will not vote for you, it matters on the quality, and originality.

 

i had a suspicioun that staff voted, but i saw like in total for the last competition something like 100 pts score in total.... soo.... any way now i know! checking out those rules
