yea we understand that, but i don't believe he was trying to be racist when he said it. He was just proving a point. I don't think he is really as racist like you guys make him out to be

And i think he was quite successfull considering no one noticed the white remark until he made his point and everyone got all mad.

 

Im not saying hees that racist, but you have to admit, that comment of his was racist, and the other comment that other guy made about white people was also racist but must i repeat myself again and againd and again....... dont fight racism with racism

 

It may be due to the fact that the white comment is in a bunch of text while the black comment is a one liner, i've only just noticed the comment on white people.

 

i agree with this, but dont think he should have gotten all the hate for taking someone else's comment and saying the same thing about a different race. at least hate on both of them :/

 

true, i dont hate him, i just think that comment was not appropriate for this time, and hey if i dont know him i cant judge him, and im not, im just saying that that was the wrong thing to do

 

The point isn't to be proud of your race, it's to respect other's and treat them the same way you'd treat anyother person, being the same as you or different.

It's to be proud of diversity, not boldening the lines between eachother.

Reason you read over it is it said white people are uncivilized, the moment it was changed to black it popped off the page for most. I am glad the flaming has died down, but he was basically just saying that all races need to be respected, even white races.

 

yeah and white people do need to be respected but they should be respected no more then any other race, white,black,brown,yellow,orange,pink,blue i dont care what colour you are, you could be multicolored, i would still treat you equally, which is what everybody should do

After reading some post I come to think that the sometimes its the individual not the race. We can't judge anyone because they are white or they are black. Its the individual who is to blame. Not all whites are racist not all blacks are racist. Did you forget some white people also fought in the
struggle against racism against blacks. Why did John F. Kennedy die? Because he also wanted to fight the war against racism. Think about it. We are all going through it, poverty, and crime. Even Abraham Lincoln got assasinated for the freedom of the slaves. The North fought the South so the slaves can be free. Sometimes we have to look into the past that we all can have a bright future..
