    I tried to capture a movie, but when I try to play it, I get this error:

    you dont have the right codec , do you have VLC player , if you dot get it i suggest it it willplay almost ANY format.

    What does that mean?

    It means it was looking for a camera connected to the computer, and you didn't have one attached, hence the "no video capture device available"
