Try to format Your computer; When u have too much apps and games on ur pc it will run slower and slower; I format my pc every 2 months But first backup all the data u might want to use after format
I'm not sure if this would fix it or not but it's always good to defrag your computer. Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter Try this it might help, you could analyze first to see if you need it. EDIT: @ Samyboyseke That's overkill bro, there's no need to format every 2 months.
Yah that disk fragmentor prob help, but u betta let it do when ur sleepin cuz it's a long job. Remember that U always have 10% free hard disk space If u have a HDD of 80 Go u need 8 free space for running ur pc properly
I reformatted 2-3 weeks ago...well to factory settings i cant use a fresh reformat form an xp disk cause my drivers from the website dont instlal properly and well..I unistalled alot of the bloat ware when i did facorty reformat I will do the disk defragger
Try to not have too much on your desktop, it takes up ram and makes the computer slow as hell no matter what you do.
I installed that AMD dual core optimiser could that be the problem? EDIT:I tryed everything (not going to reformat) and didnt work.. My setup: AMD Dual core 3800+ 1GB ram 7800GT and HP mobo with 250gb hd
My friend also bought a dual core after he installed his windows But u need to reinstall windows before he recognises that it's a dual core, so first it didn't work. Did u reinstall ur pc after u installed the dual core?
dual core,1gb,thats a nice setup,i'm sure its a virus or spyware or something.it cant be hardware problems, try calling microsoft
im betting it could be spyware... that screwed up my system a year ago... had to reformat... i only have like 2 gigs left on my 60 and im still running strong im lookin to invest in another hd though... so i would run some virus and spyware checks to see if that picks anything up if not... try to run disk clean up and see fi that helps at all...
