.gif Losing Colour In Adobe Image Ready

well i have created an animation in adobe imageready cs2 but when i try and save optimized as, it loses most of it colour and goes into mostly black and white, is there any way i can save as a .gif with out this happening or reducing how much it does.

i think i know whats rong, do you start an animation with a background file? well to fix it start clean ALWAYS start with File-New and once ur done it should be fine.
