    Try to format Your computer;
    When u have too much apps and games on ur pc it will run slower and slower;
    I format my pc every 2 months
    But first backup all the data u might want to use after format

    I'm not sure if this would fix it or not but it's always good to defrag your computer.

    Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Defragmenter

    Try this it might help, you could analyze first to see if you need it. :)

    EDIT: @ Samyboyseke

    That's overkill bro, there's no need to format every 2 months. :blink:

    Yah that disk fragmentor prob help, but u betta let it do when ur sleepin cuz it's a long job.
    Remember that U always have 10% free hard disk space
    If u have a HDD of 80 Go u need 8 free space for running ur pc properly

    Try to not have too much on your desktop, it takes up ram and makes the computer slow as hell no matter what you do.

    My friend also bought a dual core after he installed his windows
    But u need to reinstall windows before he recognises that it's a dual core, so first it didn't work.
    Did u reinstall ur pc after u installed the dual core?

    im betting it could be spyware... that screwed up my system a year ago... had to reformat... i only have like 2 gigs left on my 60 and im still running strong im lookin to invest in another hd though... so i would run some virus and spyware checks to see if that picks anything up if not... try to run disk clean up and see fi that helps at all...
