Hey guys, I'm looking for a good MMORPG to play. I don't mind a monthly fee, but I don't want somthing that will suck my life away (i.e. not WoW). any recomendations?
Hmm maybe Guild Wars? pretty good game lots of people play little over-populated with immature people, but not too bad good graphics imo no monthly fee's Other than that, i don't know many mmorpgs, from personal experience, outside DAoC and WoW
i used to play it, i'm thinking about playing it until i finally side with my friends' pestering to play WoW A lot of expansions for DAoC, tell me if you do decide to play very addicting for me, but others find it not so much I play on Gareth/Percival (forget the server clusters name for Percival, but ah well) Oluron (and anything with an O) on Percival Barok on Gareth Or just search up the guild Silent Justice

Lineage 2.. There are alot of private servers .. by private i mean u dont have to pay.. its really good
Ultima online I've been playing since that started 9 years ago. It's the ONLY MMORPG, that I haven't got bored of. I play on a free shard, which seriously is about a billion times better than the paid ones.
okay if anyone suggests the game Silkroad DO NOT go into it. You will spend months getting a decent char. Also Runescape is loaded up to its a** in beggers and greedy pricks. Thats why i quit Rs
I like Silkroad <_< But yeah, I would probably say either Lineage 2 or WoW(Even though you said you don't want one that will suck your life away, it is worth a try)DAoC is good...if you like Dugeon Crawlers either City of Heroes or City of Villains is good(even though I fall asleep playing Villains :wacko: ).
If you'd asked 10 months ago i would have said SWG. It's not a bad game now if your new, plenty to do. But a lot of the old people have left (especially on my server) so it's no-where near as alive as it once was. After 18 months of play im tihnkin of quittin (done most of the stuff i wanted to) but if your new theres loads to see and do.
