    Lets say bob here wants to make a tut.
    But He needs a sig/

    so he goes to some site and downloads one that someone else has made, Would Bob be able to make the tut and sell it?

    Also he would be giving credits for the psd but he didnt really ask the owner Billy if he could use it, Would this count as ripping?

    im not too sure.

    if u use the downloaded PSD then NO!!!
    if you do 1 using the same techniques you might b able to but id still say no

    Depends. If the person gave the .psd away for full rights, yes. Probaly he didn't and it is for learning rights or anything else, then you can't.

    if you own something full rights then you can write a tut on it. you CANT download a psd for learning rights and then just make a tut and sell it. you can ask permission from the owner and they might let you. but the only time you can write and sell a tut is if you own the piece of art, or the creator gives you permission, and you should save that permission as proof.
