ditto i hate people who think about suicide, they are weak. Stop crying about what your life is about, get the f*ck up and do something about it. Don't sit there crying.

ok jsut to address teh people that are saying rap is all about guns blah blah, yes that is rap. BUT Hip-Hop, && its culture is a tottaly differentt hings. and im adddressing teh stereotypes that thinks there both the same. rap is what you see on tv. aka mainstream, EX: 50 cent, G-unit, blah blah. but people like Immortal Techinque, Jedi Mind Tricks, Tec-9, those are underground rappers, who are more into the hip-hop scene. learn about somthing before you go flapping your lips'
    -------------------------------------
and i dont really understand how rap is more violent than rock.
id rather go kill somebody after listing to a cradle of filth song than some T.I. song...nahmean. that ---- is just plain creepy. not saying its bad music, but those guys are just plain weird. and i think that music/looks have much more effect on younger kids than any rap song does...easy.

Jesus christ, what your saying about rock is just as bad as the people saying ---- about rap. Rock isn't all cradle of filth like bands. They are black metal, not rock. Most rock bands don't talk about death, or aren't creepy, most of them are quite calm actually. There is alot of different forms of rock and metal, people only seem to think it's ----ty stuff like Cradle of Filth, IMO, they suck.

Yeah, singing about breakups and ---- has more effect on a kid than talking about 'shooting niggas', 'bangin hoes', and selling drugs.

    Well said

This topic leads back to 'stereotyping' just because rappers rap about killing people, doing drugs, etc. Doesn't mean they actually do, all they are trying to do is earn money and they know that a group of people enjoy that type of music that's why people do it. Just because you are a rapper doesn't mean you are a killer, dope addict, or w/e.

music is a great way to inspire me.... i mostly listen to hiphop, i just vibe out to the rough beats and fluid vocals... whenver i'm upset i listen to some angry rap and it actually cheers me up...

This is why I don't like rap. I'ts a bunch of wannabe hard gangsters. It's like that Boondocks episode...If anyone saw it they would know what I'm talking about.

there is no solution and rap doesn't effect any1 unitl it effects the "white" man and his "society", there;s pros and cons to any type of music, every1 contradicts them selves when it comes to music, u can say "o i hate rap, but damn the guitar in the background is crazy awesome.."

music is inspiration in one of its purest form, next to writing and such...
