I'm building a computer, and I had originally picked out an AMD Mobo and CPU, but have recently looked into some Intel options, just to compare. I had no preference towards either AMD or Intel coming in so I wanted to make sure I atleast looked at both options to see where I can get the best performance/$ ratio. Note - Motherboards: I have no idea on how to compare Chipsets, so if anyone could fill me in on any big difference (if any) between the AMD/Intel motherboards' Chipsets that would be great. Note - CPUs: I kno it is important for a CPU to have a large L2 Cache, but what is the importance of the L1 Cache? Also, what is the importance and effect of the Process Type (65nm/90nm)? Intel. Believe me I went through this already. After posting here and getting tons of help, I went out and researched some stuff. That Intel setup you have is going to give you better performance than the AMD. Also, there is NO need to get that soundcard. Intergrated sound is fine. Hope this helps
And ur better off comparing them by ditchin the soundcard and adding in this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103751 believe me, soundcard isnt all its cracked up to be...
