    i dont think its gotten to an extremem where it needs to be removed.

    and how would you make it abuse proof?

    I dont think we shud remove it... If someone made something good/bad i think we shud be able to show it.

    Well, I say keep and throw it. Keep it because it makes the member feel good about theirselfs when they have high rep(llike me). But on the other hand, if you click on my reps and see blacklabelwoods...what is that bull----. Either you get used to me voicing my opinion or take your racism elsewhere(yes racism is not the correct one).

    The only problem I see with the rep system is immaturity.

    - If someone said something bad about you while walking past you, would you make sure to let the whole world know that this guy did one bad thing?

    - If your friend joined your basketball team, and he wasn't that good, would you tell the entire team how great he is, just because he's your friend?



    These are just two examples, but people are not using this rep system the way it was intended. Either you all grow up, or the system should get taken out.

    *"You all" refers to the immature people on this forum, not the ones who posted in this thread.

    I know in other sites it gets to be more of a popularity contest, but when used correctly, it can help you point to the more useful members in a forum for help, etc. Its a good idea as long as it stays under control

    i think mayb when a rep is wanting to be added it would have too be judged by a mod

    i think we should keep it, i dont care that i have -6 rep
    to me its not a big deal and i would care anymore if i had +100 rep.

    and if it had to be approved my a mod that would take way too long and we dont have enough mods

    I think you should only be allowed to give One Rep per week or you have to pay 5 credits to rep someone, something like that
