Ok well my friend cant see the animation of .gif in his webbrowser. He can see them fine with windows but cant with fire fox

i will give 25 creds to the person who can help.

 

When he saves the animated file. He needs to be in ImageReady and as to 'save optimized as...'

.gif files to not apear as animated on is firefox !!!!!!!

they are animated when he look at them trew windows. but not FirefoX!!!!!

um could it be firefox settings? maybe its not updated? maybe his comp is just like that, because i can use them fine in it

Settings in ff are probobly screwed up. Look into that buddy.

 

well he uninstalled firefox and intalled the new version but still nothing.

Where in his firefox setting would this be ??

 

don't just unistall/install. When he unstalls make sure he deletes the firefox folder in program files. That way if it is his setting, the same ones won't be loaded in the new version.

possibly his firewall. I know that zonealarm stops .gif files playing by default.

 

i was going to say the exact same thing, zone alarm blocks every thing lol

tools>options..>content> make sure load images is checked

 

ok ill try all that with him tommorow. any other sugestions ?

 

this is a very strange problem.... all i can think is this addon (though honestly, i doubt it will help him with his .gif problem)
