Tuts Make Me Mad.

I hate when I buy a really neat tut hoping to learn something new and one of the steps are "Add a c4d".

That just pisses me off. I pay a lot for a tut hoping that I can learn something new and I never do.

Same thing with tuts that say i will learn the pen tool. One of the steps are "Make a shape with the pen tool". Thats not teaching me how to use it.

Just some ideas.

Exactly. I will see a cool shape in the sig and wonder how they did it. It turns out how he did it was "add a c4d and put it on your own settings you like". Its annoying actually, waste of my creds

 

LMAO I just bought a tut like that!

I'm like, WTF, it doesn't help at all!

I can learn more from looking at the freaking tag!

 

for real. I saw a cool shape effect. and on the tut it said add a nice c4d and put it to lighten.

atleast give us the c4d you used if your going to pull that.

 

Or if you tell us we are going to learn a technique in this sig, ACTUALLY TEACH US.

 

I like either getting PSDs or going to Graphics tuts

I make tuts but theyre good. I say stuff like....

Step 100: Make a new layer and make a shape with a pen tool that gives you some sort of shape or flow with noodles. :huh:

 

See thats what im talking about.
Make a shape that matches the sig is basically what that says.
TEACH us how to make that EXACT shape.

 

buy one of my tuts.

they're always explained well.

 

maybe if you make the tut in a gif. and have a little box. of a video of you making the shape?

No your just false advertising by telling us your going to do something then not doing it.

Trust me I dont buy tuts to learn the style, i buy them to learn new things, such as how to use a tool
