Ok, you dont know if u have LCD or CRT? 1) LCD Is skinny, its about an inch think which looks different from different angles (Liquid Crystal Dysplay) 2) CRT Is fat, its a beast, looks like a tv but much more superior (no idea what CRT is?) 3) Move any speakers you have away from your monitor 4) Move any phones away, incoming calls/messages can effect a monitor 5) Bang it, hard. 6) try a different monitor 7) Get rid of any dust out of ur PC Case / GFX Card 8) Check if any pins are bent on the plug 9) Dont listen to me im talking ----
move speakers away from the screen, possibly try getting a new screen cable, you may have a loose connection inside the cable itself
Try these: 1) Is your monitor plugged in completely properly (All pins) 2) Any wires bent? This could be it. 3) Is it an old monitor? Might be going out 4) Might be problems with your graphics card
heh... use to happen to me, the monitor to the graphics card was loose... If you have a GFX card that you might have recently put in check that..
I dont think a dpt would work as its the whole screen thats turning blue and besides you only get dp on TFT & LCD screens is your monitor self degaussing? does it make sort of a "poing" (best way of describing it ) noise when you switch it on? if it doesn't go into the screens menu (by using the buttons on the monitor its self) and select degauss
