I played Runescape from 2000-2006...i did stop around the middle for a year so i spent 5 years playing. Yes it was addictive, Yes Classic was much better, Yes i admit i wasted my life playing it, Yes it is dull and repitious after u get out No it does NOT have good Graphics, No the community is not good anymore Runescape is just a huge fad that everyone keeps telling each other about. There are still a lot of good F2P MMORPGs out there like silkroad, Ragnarok, and such, but runescape is just pathetic now. Not a single day you can go in there without seeing at least 10 people asking for free stuff, or talking smack cuz they spend 10 hours a day mining half a million digital pieces of a rock
Maybe best java game in world. I have played many year and classic was sure better than "rs2." There is not much to f2p (sad) but if you are member you have lots of things to do.
I used to play, because I had nothing else to do, and it was rather addicting for a short period of time. However, I soon finished all the f2p quests, and being that I was too cheap to pay for the p2p version, I soon got bored and quit playing.
I think RuneScape is a god awful game. If you want to play an MMO get guild wars, world of warcraft...something worth playing. Just my opinion
Runescape is Great. I am level 90, with almost everything, I still need maybe 2 or 3 party hats. I love the barrows, Guthans and Veracs are my favourite. I still have many quests to do though.
Yea ia gree the game is amazing! never get really bored, always something to do, and wilderness is fun and competetive.
