    Very clean indeed.
    Is the header gonna remain black or are you gonna make one?

    Very clean. Font is terrible, no offence :l I'm sure this template will progress, but a tad too simple for now. Gl with it.

    Things to improve:

    1) Don't use tables to code your layout - especially if you have a lot of content. If you want a usable website you'll need to learn CSS or get someone else to code it for you.
    2) A sans-serif font like tahoma would be better for the content.
    3) More detailed graphics - take a look at GR, all the images are really detailed making the site more interesting to look at. A good background image that doesn't clash so much with the content boxes would also be good.
    4) Make sure you go through it and make the finishing touches like rollover links and aligning everything perfectly - it's this that usually turns an okay site into a good one.
    5) If possible, add some more action your banner to make it look more exciting.

    Keep going and it'll look great.

    Thanks for the tipps, the coding was just for testing purposes ;) since i know im going to redo a lot of it anyway.

    As for the more detailed graphics and final touches they of course will come later on. First i want to sort out what will be the basis of the layout itll get messy if i dont :)

    As for the action to the banner your right.

    in your HTML

    add this:
    <style>
    body {
    font-family: verdana;
    }
    </style>

    that will fix your font problems.

    also, i see you are using spaces to space your news heading content out. THat's not good. It's better to use floats in CSS like CheifNX said.

    also like cheifNX said, tables are a no no

    I dont mean to be mean, but I dont know how you can call it clean.
    ooo I rhyme.

    Anyway.

    You need ot use padding also.

    And change the font.

    Using tablles in the wrong spots while coding is not fun....I code php for a site and I found that out...the code lags quite a bit.

    All in all it's cool but I don't understand jack of any of it.
