Okay, to day i tought about if Fidel Castros illness will be the end of comunist cuba, and if George W. Bush will take over cuba and be able to put another star in the american flag. I dont really have a point of veiw in this, but you might, discuss.
There would be a lot of consequences if he even tried. And I mean like, huge. Merged Post: Raul will do just fine to fend off anything. The only upper hand Fidel had was that America is afraid of him. Merged Post: And when I say huge, I mean Cuba has China, some of the EU, and most of South Africa behind its back. And most of those countries aren't too fond of the USA either, well, President Bush to be more correct.

doubt there would be a star, there are other islands that we own that are territories, and doubt we will go after them, we dont need to spend that money to get a little island... but if its not a communist country, maybe we will start trading again, cuban cigars!!!!
If we can learn anything about helping 'liberate' countries in history, its this: dont try to change a nation' s government when they are already used to it or there are still supporters. In Vietnam, we tried to establish a democracy, but we had the guy killed a few monthes later. In Iraq, we tried to establish a democratic government, and thats not working out to well. Cuba might be different because of a few more supporters, but I doubt it.
i'm half cuban... i would love to be able to travel freely and buy stuff from cuba..... castro is bad news, simple as that.
Castro is a douche in his own respect but at least almost everyone in his country has shelter, food, water, and clothing. Only reason it isn't the best is because of all the dumb embargos America placed on them, so they have to trade far away.
Well i dont give a s**t about whether ye have another bloody state, the only thing i hear about cuba is that there is an aussie in GuantanEMO(lol im so gay) bay. Speaking of cuba, how about that episode of the simpsons with the trillion dollar bill? Discuss.
