DONT -rep someone if they give you a bad rating on your sig or render, its their opinion. People are entitled to opinions. (Happened to me once, got it removed.) 2. DONT ask to be repped in exchange for creds. Rep isnt something you ask for.(I used to do that, now I dont) 3. DONT -rep someone for -repping you. Hey you gave me a minus rep, so im going to give you one back. <---- Dont do that. Look at my latest and only -rep. 4. DONT give out free reps. 5. DONT -rep someone for having a bad render or sig. Reputation is something you earn, by being a good or bad person. It is based on how you act, and what you say. Reputation should not be based on your opinions about someone or something, because that would be like judging people on their religion.
I couldn't agree with you more, ive gotten 4 negative reps in the last few days because i negative repped someone. 2 of which have been taken away by llama
I disagree. One render, sure. But many is contributing to the site, and deserves a pat on the back. But besides that, I agree with pretty much everything here. I ignore rep though, since it's so easily abused.
At least my neg rep was valid, there was no reason for you neg rep me, members, mods and Admin all agreed that the member was a ripper yet you go looking through month old threads and decided not even to read the thread and -rep me.
Man i'm getting tierd off this discussion,everytime someone gets a -rep they don't think they deserve they start a tread about how bad -repping is. As i read the posts above you basicailly can't +/-rep anybody anymore quote by overhack right that's a good one,this site is all about renders,my man,making renders is a contribution to this site and the community,that's whatt's atracts peeps to this site,if peeps made an effort to spend time on cutting things out so you can use them in your sigs is,i think that's +rep material. The best thing is to just get rid off the rep system,it seems that some can't handle the responsibility and take it way to seriously,It means nothing really,you can't buy anything with it and it doesn't make you a better sig maker so if it was up to me i should just end thsi rep thing NOW!!! I think it's the best thing for all off us,peeps are afraid to tell the truth,just to avoid to get -repped. ENd this.

exactly... including high_till_die696 (problem resolved now) he -repped me cause he thought i was spamming on this topic but i wasnt, so we had i talked with him about it and the reason why most of the posts were alot on that topic (problems & Suggestions) was because i was trying to explain the battle system. Luckily i PMed him and we got it all straightened out, including that i PMed Llamaman about it, i really dont like bothering the guy cause he's such a busy mod and such, but i just have to do it to show him about other people....

Yeah, this thread just goes to show you that a lot of people on this site aren't even mature enough to use the rep system. It's sad.
Some kid just gave me a -rep because I said his sig was bad. Am I not allowed to say someones sig is bad? Sinful who top on my list of people I hate on this site gave me a -rep for giving him a -rep, because he said something very rude and mean. 2 other people gave him a -rep on the same post. MY NEW IDEA Negative reputation should be authorized by a moderator or a admin before it can be set in place.
The whole reputation thing is a joke. Who cares. It's always going to be abused, there is nothing you can do. End of story.
and Adult got his sig removed and warned for stateing his opion. saying that is like saying black people suck... <_<
