I'm 14 also. If you like those kinds of games, it looks like DS is for you.

you have an mp3 player at 5 gigs and a DVD player?

Dont waste your time with the PSP then. Game-wise it doesnt hold up as well. The weak internet access, MP3, and DVD are wats holding it up.

Just go with DS Lite. Much better games considering it has things like the Metroid Hunters, Mario, and a few quirky yet fun games

Doesnt psp only hold like 200 songs? or are there bigger memory cards for the mp3s? Well psp may play movies and a little music but thats just a marketing scheme, Do you really find yourself stranded somewhere without a tv and a huge appetite for a movie on a screen smaller then your palm? If you are in a crowded place a game would be the best thing to do on a handheld because the sound of the people most of the time does not intefere with your game so a ds would be better

    The DS -
It's innovative, it's from the company bringing out the Wii so gaming on it is definately Fun + Awesome. It's graphics arn't top notch, but they are good for the sort of games they are... it's fun and original.

    The PSP -
It's incredible... seeing the size of that handheld push out PS2 worthy graphics. It has games like MGS: Acid, GTA: Liberty City (With Vice City) on the way, Burnout, Need For Speed and heaps of other decent games. It plays music, displays images/movies with crystal quality and has internet access if you've got a wireless network around... it's much more expensive than the DS Lite and that alone is a huge disadvantage because the DS lite, for the price you pay is incredible fun.

The DS Lite is a huge improvement over the original DS, rubberised buttons, metal finish, a lighter more compact case without compromising the feeling of reliability....

It really depends but it sounds like the DS lite might be for you.

^^Yay for DS ;D Tons of people go on about the PSP but I bought one for someone and it was practically falling apart after a few months... They're badly made and useless game wise. DS has some uber games, wireless internet and (soon) an opera browser

"Some good games" That amused me. Okay Internet is nice, but when do you need an internet browser where u have to use that pathetic excuse of a "keyboard", Videos okay. But when you can spend as much money on a DVD and listen to it with a decent sound system i'd go DVD. Music well thats the best they have at the moment, but he already has a 5 Gigabyte mp3 player

Pics....Pics....WAT THE HELL YOU GOIN TO DO WITH PICS?!? Useless....Better off just buying a "Camera"

And yes theres only "some" good games.

(not a bash just a statement)
