my opinion of art is derived from a quote personally ppl can comment all they want on you're art but as long as you're satisfied then it is you're art, you're expression of what you want to portray.although some portray it better, doesn't make them better than anyone else. And here comes the case of rating an artist. You cannot truely rate an artist. These stupid bigginer-pro ratings, are just forms of morallity boosts. since most ppl who are rated "pro" pick on the younger. Personally ppl have rated me inter, but i dont care. becuase what should matter in art, is not a ratting, but you're feelings, the expressions that go into a painting. Concider in the real world. A man makes a beautiful painting and gets $20,000 for it. But a guy that is more well known puts a dot on a canvas and gets twice as much. The world today has adapted art as being better than someone else. I believe that art is expression and ppl have forgoten about that. All they care about is who is better than who. Art is not a contest, it is expression!
thank you. but seriously people, we nit and pick on a style being over whored, or not good enough. The reality of it is. It doesn't amtter, the person created the piece of art with they're own talents, and tehy are proud of it and want to display it. We shouldn't destroy they're self esteem saying it sucks. rememebr there is always someone better htan you, and how would you feel if they came up to you and said you suck...you owuldn't like it. Well the situations are one and teh same
I agree, because everything you make is of your own .. If you like it, nobody can say it sucks because that's there taste.

art is much more than that art can be anything an artist makes. and an artist is anyone with an imagination, with the ability to see someonething without it being there then create it. Taking what is in his mind and putting it on a canvas (ditial or not) the size of the piece doesn't matter, it is the time, and emotion that goes into the work
I feel that i do my art for myself, and for no one else. And alot of people forget that when they do art, for them its more a popularety contest the art itself. and i really dont get that..
