Suggestion.

In the show off area, like Small art and Large art, there should be a rule that its only 1 TOPIC PER PERSON, PER PAGE!

Example;
- I have a topic on the first page in small art, and i want to show my new tag to everyone, but then i make a new tag, and my latest topic is still on the first page, then i dont need to make a new topic for the new tag, but instead i just edit my first post in the first topic i made, with the new tag there aswell.

Or;

- I have a topic on the second page, then i can make a new topic instead of bumping the old one.

That way it wont get spammed with 5 topics, each containing ONE tag, and the post is: "Comments??" from the same person.


That way we will get the spam down, and maybe, not as uch creds will be made i guess.

 

It wouldnt really keep spam down cause everyone would have to post again saying "the second one is nice too keep it up"

...

 

No, they edit their post maybe, and then the topic maker will just have to live with looking in his topic.

 

That would be spam.. I rather a spam Bump then a spam Topic... Just my opinion though.

get some new class mods, like "Babysitter moderators" or somethning.

 

Its an okay IDea but as the other said having...bumps is better than a topic..

But editing the post is a good idea...

BUT what if somebody post on your topic on page two? and you posted a new topic already?

 

Nice idea, but as gurly said i think it will be too much extra work for the mods, there aint enough mods on gr.

I think the idea of a 'baby Sitter' team of something would be very good.

eg, we have Render mods dont we? If some sort of spam control team or somehting was assembeld (note: there anre many hardcore GR fans who would love to ge into this position, to work for GR as a member of staff) then they could patrol the showcase forums for spam and only this section only.

You could have a contest to see who would make the team and stuff. Just a nice idea to have some member of staff present in the showcase areas when we are there because it would stop the contast spam every 2minutes.

if this happened i think they would need a better name than babysitter. maybe Spam Controller or something. or just a sectional mod for the showcases.
