I have a problem with both of these tricks. Kickflip:When i pop the board and try to flip it around i have a problem were it flips fully and lands 2 feet away from me. And also when it flips fully i land first other then the board. PopShuvit: WHen i pop the board and swoop my foot the boar doesnt go a full 180 but halfway. Can anyone give me a video thats helpfull? Or can anyone plz explain what i can do to fix this? Ty
Play basketball, more fun...>_>..seriously though, good luck, I know it's hard to do that sort of stuff, my friends are really into skating.
I skate.. and very good, I train people for money, What you need to be working on with your kickflips, is dont even worry about your front foot, if you can land it with your back foot than you can land it, its ALL about the back foot, and your probally trying to kick it to much, or or kicking it OUT to much, instead of kicking it OUT kick it to the side more. As for your pops, just make sure you dont turn your body what so ever, practice over and over, get it so u can land it with just one foot, then the other than try both.
Broken, so on the kickflip u mean dont slide your foot all the way to the nose?Or just to place your foot on the kickflip position and slide down? ill give u all my credits if this works
i used to be real into to skating idk i guess since we dont have any skate parks around here just this slab that has a quater pipe funbox stuff like that either all stolen or sk8tr built but with a bike you can just do so much more lol i spent $350 on my KHE Blackjack bike have had it for like 2 or 3 years now but when i was skating i spent like 200 a year on trucks decks tape all that and all the pairs of shoes i went through lol anyways Kickflip: be more on your toes and if regular stance have your left foot about 3-5 inches behind the screws and your back foot 1/2 inch away from the very tip of the tail and you should get it and if your goofy vice versa Pop-Shovit: have your back foot toes about 1 inch over the right side of the board and and your front foot in about the same place as the kickflip and as soon as you are coming into the air act like your are trying to pick somthing up with your toes and push with your foot at the same time and the board should land about 8 inches in front of you hope i could be of some help
I ride and skate. what helped me with kickflips and popshoveits was just watching videos and watching closely at how my friends did it.
I used to skateboard. I broke my front tooth so I decided to stop. All I could do was ollie...I had nice shoes though.
Kickflip: be more on your toes and if regular stance have your left foot about 3-5 inches behind the screws and your back foot 1/2 inch away from the very tip of the tail and you should get it and if your goofy vice versa Pop-Shovit: have your back foot toes about 1 inch over the right side of the board and and your front foot in about the same place as the kickflip and as soon as you are coming into the air act like your are trying to pick somthing up with your toes and push with your foot at the same time and the board should land about 8 inches in front of you hope i could be of some help there only the answer now
kickflip = flick with your HEEL! pop shuvit = kick towards you and DONT BE AFRAID TO LAND I pwn at skateboarding.
For a kickflip you have to "ninja kick it" that means fully kick out your top foot and also your top foot should be just below the bolts to ensure a nice soft landing, really sort of hard to describe over the internet, and for the shuvit its really just practice, I personally find bs shuvits to be alot funner and better to do because you can pop them alot higher and land easier. Vidoes dont help much, its a hands on learning thing I guess you could pick up some styles, just learn from people around you seems to be the easiest.
