^Yeh.. he basically explained what i wanted to say. :tongue: It happens to me sometimes too, and sometimes when i use like 14 font i get size 3!
Im 100% sure its the fonts, Get a list of all the default fonts and delete all the downloaded ones. Make sure you don't delete any default fonts because it can affect your computer. Reinstall your favorite fonts, you dont really want or need more then 50 or 60 custom fonts.
Mine used to freeze up all the time on my old comp. I think I only had like 256 mb of ram, rofl. Now that I have 2 gigs on this new comp. Photoshop never dares do it again
Get more RAM for sure, it's cheap and the best and easiest upgrade to do that makes a huge difference. Always make sure before you install anything new like a big font pack that you backup up your original first. If it goes FUBAR, you can easily restore the original with no fuss.
If it goes FUBAR lol I would agree with the RAM upgrade and probably the amount of fonts you have installed. Let me know if you need the original list of fonts that comes with XP because I recently got a new computer and have not installed any new fonts. I would be happy to upload them for you.
I recently bought a new computer and I haven't downloaded any new fonts so I just zipped all the fonts that came with Windows XP. I am hosting the file myself so just let me know when you have downloaded them. If anyone else needs these fonts just send me a pm and I'll give you the link. Hope this helps bro..
HAHA, thanks guys. I just had this problem and it was when I installed a 4000 font pack from this site. I just deleted all the fonts, and now I am good to go.
