Looks pretty okay, normaly i like light templates like these and its pretty well worked out except for the font wich in fact drags it down + it looks more like a splash page then a website. Overal for a first template i'd give it a 9 because its your first
The text you used for the links needs to be different because it just doesn't go with the rest. A pixel font is fine - but it needs to be a different colour. Maybe make the drop shadow a lighter colour as well - you don't want to go over the top with aspects like that. Overall very good though.
Think you need to change the font on the navigation. It looks too strong when you compare it to the header and drags up all the attention. Other then it's pretty good, a bit empty, but good.
What the hell is the point of repeating what I've just said? If you're just trying to boost your post count or haven't read the other posts then go somewhere else.
Try to add some content, affiliate boxes etc... and change the font of the navigation + change that stroke. Otherwise good template for your first
