You have integrated graphics. It's not even a graphics card, but just built into the motherboard.

the 9600xt isnt that good. but integrated graphics is terrible

Heh... don't know what any of that means, but I think my graphics card isn't that great. The best at the time, but not now.

Or better yet, a pci-e card

give us your system specs etc, and see what slots you have, like.. pci, agp, or pci-e

also tell us what budget you are on abd what country, we'll find you 1

btw sorry for bad grammar in this post... it took me like 5 mins to type this because i only have 1 hand available because my dog is asleep on my lap on my other hand lol

is there a way to check what slot you have for a gfx card? erm, 3.0 ghz, 1 GB ram, P4 proccessor. It's a dell dimension 4600c desktop.

I dont really wanna pay $100 for a gfx card, just around 50-80, preferrebly cheaper

well your specs didnt give us any information on what type of slot you have, you need to get a program

    http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

then you will find what you have and we can go from there

if you have a pci, you can get a radeon 9250 or a ge-force 7900 for about 25$ they arent the greatest but they will get the job done, you can search around newegg.com to find a good deal, look for a referbished graphics card which means it was returned for some reason, but it is now working, also known as open boxed

and what they were trying to say is that the graphics card you are using is a basic card, and it is realy bad, and the other things were suggestions on what card to get (the things with the numbers)

    hope that helps
