Trivium isnt hardcore. From Autumn to Ashes isnt hardcore. Slayer is not hardcore. Senses Fail is not hardcore. I am talking about traditional hardcore. If they scream or their singer sounds like he is saying "gwee gwee roar", they ARE NOT hardcore. Hardcore songs consists of good breakdowns, 2-step, and yelling, not screeching.
    Throwdown isnt hardcore.

Everyone has a different twist on what they consider each genre to be. Throwdown, to me, is a hardcore band. You can argue that they're metalcore or something else, I classify them as hardcore. I don't think all of these sub-genres mean anything at all.

To all of you that said Blood Brothers, please get a clue. They aren't hardcore at all, they're screamo. Yes Daz, I hate using that as well but it's the truth :(

Hatebreed, Bury Your Dead, and Casey Jones are the other three bands I have on my playlist that I would consider hardcore.

You misunderstood what I meant by that. I mean slightly different twists. Not entirely different views on it. Like you said 2step and all that, some people might include other aspects in their idea of what hardcore is. I dunno, it's kind of hard to explain.
