Security Software

well i was using the zone alarm software and yeah i thought it was quite good when i come to un-installing it it apeard to work but now its blocked all of my web browers i am forced to use the stock AOL one belive me its hell? I have tryed deleting files related to the software. And even installed fire fox and opera over and over agen to see if it would work. NO.. NO it didnt. GRRR. i didnt post this in the off topic because i thought some other people may of had this problem?

Don't just download internet software, and make sure it comes with an uninstaller

 

That sucks man. When my comp was messed up(because of Morpheus!!) I took it to the Geek Squad at BestBuy, they fixed it in 2 days. You have to pay but at least it gets fixed.

You can also try to find a solution on the net, but it's hard to find a reliable one.

 

Try to use unistall in the my control section , It should be able to remove it :S

Wow dude, that majorly sucks. Remember the golden rule:
AOL=Crap

 

YEAH AOL IS SO ----ING SLOW LOL but i didnt download it i brought the actual product " Zone Alarm " and it did come with an un-installer i done that but sadly it still didnt work... grrrrrrrr

 

Did you try going to add/remove programs?

 

Have you tried going to the program files folder and deleting that?

When you pirate stuff like that, you should always make sure there are some good comments about it. Songs, videos, and images aren't really as bad, but it helps if you can get some to vouche for it.
