hmm...I would think about 1-3.5 years out of school and 1-2 years in school, however I have seen a 3 yr thing so yeah
I think as long as both of u love each other then its good. I know someone thats in her 50s thats going out with someone in his 30s.
some good points here i agree with all of u in some sense... the older u are the more ok it is for the bigger the age difference. My friends parents are 15 years apart, the dad is retired But also if ur like 17 (like me) i might go for some1 thats 15, 14 is pushing it. cuz ur right on the edge of being the legal age. Some1 that may be older then u by maybe a year or 2 wouldnt be so bad either. A girl i know is 18 and is dating some1 thats 30...with a child...shes still in high school...thats kinda wrong right there lol. but its all personal preference with what u think is ok and how ur community will see it as.
this is a tough topic with no real general consensus on the matter, though i think really in the end it all boils down to: 1. how the two feel about each other which is really all that matters 2. the maturity of the two people involved can play a big part in it as well.
^^^at first i thought it said "online" :| anyway i really like a girl 2 years younger than me...i dont think it'll work out though -_-
Theres really no correct answer to this, even what the law says is a load of bull. Its really what YOU think should be right for your age or the kind of person he/she is. You dont wanna go out with someone whos too immature or someone who is too mature and not have any fun with them.
well i dunno i dont really mind age differences but the fact is girls like older guys so i wonder what a girl would say on the age differences but as for me im 14 and all the girls i know are roughly 15-16 so thats the age i like for dating and such and as for them being younger i just dont like if shes younger then me cuz like im a grade ahead most ppl my age so i 15 is a good age for me at the moment but if they are 14 thats hmmm alright i guess and if they are 16 then thats even better
I think some age difference is fine, but 20 years and up are a bit too much for me. I'm younger than a lot of people in my grade cuz I'm born in Sept so when everyone is 17 for 11th grade I'll only be 16, so there definitely will be an age difference; not much, but some.
