What do you mean? OEM.. what? This chip isn't made by intel? And whats HSF? That would be like.. false advertising if it wasn't.
OEM: Original Equipment Manufactorer... google search can easily solve that. HSF (HS&F): Heatsink and Fan If you put a different cooling device on it, better or worse, the warrenty is technicly void. But you can always lie...
Yes, I did google search it. See the sentence that comes after. Well its kind of easy to lie about that... Besides, what is Intel trying to save? If you don't use a cooling device on it, it is going to overheat and eventually die or be damaged, and you will have to take it in for warrenty. If you use a cooling device, your warrenty is void. So pretty much both ways your screwed. Oh well, I'm lieing lol. Its gonna cost Intel more by replacing my chips because they keep overheating than it is for them to let me cool it..
They won't overheat on stock cooling. The E Series uses 50-75 watts. On stock it will run (give or take) 30 C. That is fine. I'm running (give or take) 50 C on stock cooling and stock voltage and settings. If you overclock, that voids your warrenty. But you can always lie.
Well the only way for them to know if you're overclocking is from the Bios? Right? So they would never be able to tell if you only send them the chip.. I'm too in-expirenced to Overclock, and I know I'm going to ---- something up, so I'm not even going to try. I'll take it down to a computer shop or something and have them do it. Then if they break it, they buy it.
