how bout there is a ladder. You advance in the universe after you die. Moving up from a worm, to a human if you're good, or go down from a human to a worm if you're bad. The ultmate goal is to reach paradise (or whatever the hell you want it to be). That would keep everthing in a state of equilibrium. humans go up, animals go down. I think we come back as something else, depending on our karma. For example, if you were a really good person, then you would not be reincarnated, but go into eternal bliss. If you were a really bad person, then you might get reincarnated as a pile of sh*t or something like that.
Hmmm I also can't believe that there would be ntohing after death.. I often find myself pondering the question 'Why do anything in life to be successful, if you're going to die and lose it all?' I believe in Heaven, Hell, God, and reincarnation. I mean we did have to some from somewhere, the first human being had to be created somehow, right? Not evolved from some gene or monkey, and when the gene and monkey had to be created somehow.. :unsure: But on the otherhand, maybe death is our break... what we get in exchange for living life..eternal sleep and quiet...a utopia in a way just some thoughts..

I believe that when we die god gives us a chance to pay for our sins and if we choose to then we will be re-born again sometime in another body.
Usually when people have a past life, it's over years and years, not 1 minute. And I think we go somewhere when we die, I like to think heaven, but I just kind of find it hard to believe that we don't go anywhere when we die.
I believe the idea of god was constructed by people who didnt understand how everything in their environment worked and needed an explanation, that idea got passed down and latched onto by people afraid of whats going to happen to them in the afterlife, and various other reason. Although remember, absence of proof does NOT equal proof of absence of a God. However these things that are happening in Israel are quite confusing as to the Bible, the new temple being built in Jerusalem, new Jews for Jesus activities and so on. So who knows, maybe there is a God, maybe Christianity is the way to go. But maybe not. Better safe than sorry eh? Edit: whoops didn't realize I didn't talk about afterlife. I believe once you die, your gone, just gone forever. like "GG NOOB NO FRICKEN RE" It's over, life is lie a candle in my point of view. It's all lively and stuff (the flame that is) then all of a sudden a strong burst of wind and you die, and your gone, lost forever. Never gonna be burnin again.
I think when we die..we are born again as an angel or as a person you once where that you where most happy being. We get to live with people we like and never see the ones we dont like. I think we have rules to follow but are still free.
anyone read a magazine story in TIMES where they put the person into a near-death state and then bring them back right away? they all said they were floating above their body like they were ghosts. dunno if thats true but that would be neat.
I beleive after death people rot in coffins and feather away into dust and soil, thus continuing the pattern by freeing up space for future life.
When we die! We will go to the first of 3 stages to get to heaven. First stage is proving yourself that you are truely worthly of god kingdom. Second stage is we become a guardian angel and assigned a task, FAIL then you are stuck a ghost to wonder earth forever! Not being noticed and losing a chance of paradise is enough punishment. 3rd stage is again showing your loyalty to god in the battles for the universe...GOD vs DEVIL....if you succeed then retirement in heaven! lol!!!!
Hmm... This is a hard question. I don't even know what I believe right now. The best way seems: "We're all going to heaven(except bad guys). But that's hard to rely on. Reincarnation sounds cool; you get to come back as an animal or something, or an ant and get stepped on and have to get reincarnated again. LMAO Maybe the bad people like murders become insects like ants so they keep getting stepped on and good people become lions and stuff so they survive. LMAO
