You have a Socket 939 mobo with an AM2 Processor you need a different motherboard. (a socket AM2 motherboard, ill look for one) Also upgrade your memory to DDR2 800

Switch to this X800GTO, its cheaper

X800GTO cant SLI so just go for this motherboard

Ok hmm.. If you have just a bit more money, like $50, get the Athlon X2 3800+ (unless you plan on upgrading to K8L later in this year.) It may yield a few less FPS, but you will be able to alt+tab flawlessly.

BTW all of this is at Newegg and I still need a fan or 2. This will also be my first build, unless I get my brother-in-law or my brother to do it. They might be too busy....so I might have to do it. -_-

put off buying for like a month or so, and get this processor

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103735

my brother has it with like a 6800 vanilla or 6600GT, im not sure, and he runs cs:s fine. I'm sure it can play BF-2 with the x800gto, plus you can run all the programs you want in the background.
