Well my current computer is terrible. So bad I dont really want to post the specs.

Anyway, I think I am gonna save up some money and get a nice computer.
It needs to be good for Gaming.
Mainly im looking for a pre-built computer with good graphics/memory/and nice harddrive space.

If anyone can help me out that would be great.

    Price range: $1,000 USD area.

Edit: And I know many people here hate Windows for some reason. But it would be better for me if this computer had Windows XP on it. Mainly because thats all I have worked with and im familiar with it.

I dont see a Harddrive or Sound Card. Not really sure why you didnt add those.

NEVER GO DELL!!!!!!!! haha, imo...i have a crappy dell. the thing that sucks about these is that only dell parts will work in them, meaning u have to order ne dell manufactured part from dell to work in a dell computer. Thats y im building a completely new one. I havent even had my computer for a year and i already bought 3 things for my new comp. Its going to cost me about $3000 CAD

    heres the comp im building

    CPU
    mobo
im pretty sure those two will work together, i had a friend of my brother help me put it together in the first place.
    Power supply
    memory
sound card - havent really looked for one...idk which is good =\
monitor - stopped selling that one...wow tigerdirect is gay <_<
    video card
    tower
    umm...what else...speakers :)

I just ordered my CPU and mobo today, and i saved about 250$ on my cpu cuz it looks like they're having a sale of some sort haha, score :D lol

as for my vid card, i planned this a while ago so ive had to make a few adjustments because tigerdirect stopped selling some of my parts i planned to buy. It wasnt a bad thing cuz i ended up doing some more shopping around and found those parts for a cheaper price :)

With a budget of 1,000 that is enough to get a core duo 2. Wait until newegg stocks them and get one of those instead.

Also, wont I need some sort of Cooling system? Like a fan at least?

Im not really into building computer so im not really sure about all of this. I need everything for this PC if im gonna build it.

Also, al of these parts work together right? I know some parts conflict and I dont want to have to return it and buy another one.
